Beginning September 4 through October 9 (9/4, 9/11, 9/18, 9/25, 10/2, 10/9)
Learn a life skill while sewing your own chibi doll plushie from start to finish!
This course will begin by covering some basic sewing skills like threading a needle, tying a knot, and basic stitching. Besides creating plushies, these are the types of skills that will become invaluable in life! If you ever need to mend a pair of pants or sew a button back on, you'll be set! We'll learn to trace, cut, pin, and sew the provided pattern, then stuff and assemble all the parts. This course will also go over the tricks to painting faces, attaching hair, and more!
By the end of this course, you should be able to use what you've learned to create even more plushies at home (and maybe even fix that hole in your favorite shirt!). This will be challenging but rewarding... Be prepared to finish uncompleted work at home between classes. Hand sewing takes time!
Although the class will provide a few ideas on how to make or where to buy doll apparel, the clothing and accessories will be left up to the student.
Class price includes all art materials. Recommended for ages 16 and up - This is a intensive course that will require focus and patience!
Registration is required. All classes are nonrefundable.
